MARKETING INTERN

NWC Marketing Interns will have the opportunity to develop unique marketing strategies for both the incubator and its clients. Along with researching and determining current culinary trends, interns will learn new techniques used to market food products. Interns will work on newsletters, press releases, marketing materials, media kits, social media accounts and more.

  • - Brainstorming and executing marketing ideas
  • - Participating in seminars and specialty events
  • - Working one-on-one with food entrepreneurs and startups
  • - Format Press Releases and Newsletters

Qualifications:

Candidate must:

  • -be creative and strategic thinker when it comes to developing and executing marketing strategies
  • -have strong editing skills
  • -have basic understanding of media outreach
  • -have some knowledge on collecting and analyzing data
  • -be experienced with programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

BUSINESS/ FINANCE INTERN

NWC Business & Finance Interns will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with new food entrepreneurs to help develop new strategies to build their business.

 Job Description:

  • - Researching and coordinating information
  • - Developing and improving food business models
  • - Assisting clients with business plans
  • - Collecting and analyzing financial data
  • - inputting information into Quickbooks
  • - Creating and implementing unique and viable business strategies
  • - Participating in seminars and specialty events
  • - Working one-on-one with food entrepreneurs and startups

Qualifications:

Candidate must have:

  • strong mathematical and business skills
  • a thorough understanding of Quickbooks
  • ability to think strategically from a financial perspective
  • Basic understanding of startup costs and food business
  • Food business experience is a plus

WEB & DIGITAL DESIGN INTERN

NWC Web and Digital Design Interns will be able to see their ideas and designs come to life by working with food entrepreneurs who in the process of developing packaging, logos, websites and more.
